Out of contract monitored alarms
The takeover of 'out of contract' for monitored alarms and or
maintenance of alarms maybe an area in which we can help. The
larger national alarm companies install systems which initially may
have had a fixed term contract, and when this period expires there
is then a decision to be made by the owner as to whether to renew
with them or not, or maybe you have purchased a property with such a
system installed and the contract is terminated and you would like
it working again. We can offer you an alternative option other
than returning to the original company, we may be cheaper for you
long term. It may be possible for us to takeover such system on a
maintenance basis and or even re-instate monitoring via an alarm
receiving station. Our contracts are for 12 months on a rolling
basis. I.E. They can be cancelled after the initial 12 month period.
We are familiar with Ademco Galaxy and Accord XPC, DSC and
Scantronic panels and work with them on a daily basis Our
maintenance contracts are from £10 per month, and monitoring can be
included for another £10 per month, making a £20 inc vat per month
charge. Our maintenance contracts are comprehensive for fair wear
and tear. We do not charge extra for reset codes, we do not insist
an engineer make a chargeable visit to reset. Nor do we use 0900
telephone numbers when the alarm dials out, which hits your phone
bill. Comprehensive with us means comprehensive in other companies
comprehensive does not, you can incur charge backs from them if they
think the malfunction is your fault and of course they are the judge
and jury on that. Please understand that any system installed
before year 2000 is unlikely to be compliant with current standards,
and therefore its upgrade options may be limited, and turning it
with an active outside strobe/siren into a true bells only or
audible system maybe the only option. Should you reside within the
London home counties we can for a cost of £50+vat, inspect your
system and issue an advice as to whether an upgrade is a feasible
alternative to installing new. Should you wish to go with an
upgrade to the system, there will be charge for a full service
visit, before we can issue a maintenance contract. The cost of this
will depend on the condition of the system to be taken over. |
